Kimekomi Kits
Kimekomi is a traditional Japanese craft of creating dolls or ornaments by tucking fabric into pre-cut grooves. This no-sew technique creates beautiful and intricate patterns and can be adapted to many ornament styles.
You can view our past ornaments below. Many are still for sale individually on our website, but once we run out of stock they’re gone for good! You’ll want to subscribe to our Kimekomi Club Kit to get first dibs and a discount!
Welcome to Cottage Ornaments’ Monthly Kit Clubs!
We have two kit clubs - the Quilted Fabric Kit Club and our Kimekomi Kit Club. Members of either Kit Club receive a new, curated ornament kit every other month as well as special discounts on our individual ornament kits.
Every kit contains everything you need to complete the ornament except the straight pins as well as a detailed printed tutorial.
Quilted Fabric Club kits are issued in January, March, May, July, September and November.
Kimekomi Club kits are issued in February, April, June, August, October, and December.
We have several members who have joined both clubs and receive an ornament kit each month.
Membership in either Kit Club is $32.00 every other month. You can sign up at any time and have two months to cancel your membership at no penalty to you. Subscriptions renew at the same time on the same day every other month.
